KILLER HEELS - Brooklyn Museum of Art
KILLER HEELS, do I really need to expound upon this topic? Let's just say I have been wanting to see this exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum of Art since its debut back in September 2014.
It is a stunning collection focusing on contemporary heels with a sprinkling of vintage and antique shoes. It was well worth the effort of battling the crowds at BMA's first Saturday, which are not for the faint of heart!
There's really not much more to say because the shoes speak for themselves. Some are just art, some look like torture devices (watch for the video at the end), and some are simply and flawlessly stunning.
So without much further ado, I give you the exhibit (not in its entirety, but about 80% of it)
